The Palace Hotel is situated adjacent to the pier, with stunning views over Oban Bay. Oban is small fishing village known as the gateway to the Islands with boat trips running to the Island of Iona daily. We have been awarded the FHG Diploma for 'Holiday Accomodation of the Highest Standard'. Oban is a popular resort with young and old alike and we cater for both with single, family, double or twin rooms. The rear rooms are cosy and quiet, whereas the front rooms have a magnificent view over to the bay, to the Mull hills beyond. The Lounge and Dining room are also situated at the front of the Hotel. If you plan to visit the islands during your stay, we will provide a full cooked breakfast at 7.00am to allow you to catch the early boat if you wish. If you wish to bring your pet on holiday they will be made very welcome, although they must be supervised at all times. Golf, fishing, horse-riding, sailing and swimming are all available within a short distance. There is a central feature staircase in the hotel, however the lowest bedrooms are on the second floor.
